The 2nd to last RPI rankings were released today (see below). The final RPI rankings will be released on 11/28, which will help dictate bracket seeding in the tourney. You can watch the DI Women's Volleyball Selection Show for the announcement of the 64 teams to make the post-season (and where they get seeded in the brackets) this Sunday 11/29/2015 at 9:00 pm EST on ESPNU.
RPI Rankings (11-23-15) top 16 teams: 1) Texas 2) USC 3) Minnesota 4) Wisconsin 5) Florida 6) Washington 7) Nebraska 8) Kansas 9) Penn State 10) Texas A&M 11) UCLA 12) Ohio State 13) Stanford 14) UCLA 15) Louisville 16) BYU

Based on VT's "RPI Futures" thread (which computes a season-ending, unadjusted RPI based on each team's predicted wins using the current Pablo rating) the tourney sweet 16 round could look like this:
SAN DIEGO: 2 USC vs 15 Louisville 7 Nebraska vs 10 UCLA
LEXINGTON: 4 Wisconsin vs 13 BYU 5 Florida vs 12 Stanford
AUSTIN: 1 Texas vs 16 Missouri 8 Penn State vs 9 Texas A&M
DES MOINES: 3 Minnesota vs 14 Ohio State 6 Washington vs 11 Kansas
Updated RPI Futures: 10:45 pm EST (per Bluepenguin on VT) 11/23/15.
Notes: I made some minor adjustments based on MY predicted wins/losses for the top 16 teams. I'm banking on PSU beating Nebraska. No one knows for sure what the Selection Committee will come up with, there are dozens of scenarios discussed on VT.
Which Regional Bracket would you rather see PSU play in? Who do you NOT want to face until the regional finals?

Penn State will not get higher than a #10 seed for sure. I just don't know how far they'll drop. Are the teams below them any better, how will the Selection Committee view them?

Penn State will not get higher than a #10 seed for sure. I just don't know how far they'll drop. Are the teams below them any better, how will the Selection Committee view them? I think there aren't many teams better than PSU, but they are considerably better. In the B1G, I believe Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin are better. Outside of the B1G? Washington, USC, maybe Texas? Then, I think there's a considerable drop and you have the remaining 16 seeded teams. PSU may be the best of those.
How will it turn out? We might make the Elite 8 if we get sent to a favorable region. Maybe even the Final Four.
Maybe Rose can make some magic. He didn't look all that optimistic this evening.

I just really hope they don't stick Penn State in a bracket that has 2 more Big10 teams. I don't want 3 Big10 teams together unless it's in the Texas regional -- I'd like to see TX make it out of that bracket, home court advantage or not.

Who could blame him? He hasn't been happy with the setting all season but felt he had no alternative. It makes you wonder about the lineup for next year. I feel very depressed at our loss to Nebraska.

Here's an RPI bracket prediction by TrojanSC from VT. He's been doing this for a couple years and has had some success. His system seems pretty solid and logical.
Seems favorable for Big10 teams, except Nebraska. I really like the TX vs WA possible matchup.
Actually, I wouldn't mind if things turned out like this.
PSU would play MN in regional final and WI in national semifinal. I like our chances versus both those teams.
Lexington Regional (1) Minnesota vs (16) Louisville (8) Penn State vs (9) Kansas
Des Moines Regional (4) Texas A&M vs (13) Ohio State (5) Wisconsin vs (12) UCLA
San Diego Regional (3) USC vs (14) BYU (6) Nebraska vs (11) Stanford
Austin Regional (2) Texas vs (15) Missouri (7) Washington vs (10) Florida

Unhappy with setting or unhappy with passing? Surprised to see how many passes last night required Bryianna to move well beyond the three meter line which of course reduces dramatically what she can do. Huskers owned the block and we did not make any adjustments

Penn State vs Hawaii in Regional Semi-Finals should we win 1st two rounds unless Hawaii gets taken down by Texas A&M in Round 2. Texas A&M won SEC. Will be an interesting match either way.

Hawaii will have a tough match each and every round, it seems. I think Penn State received a good draw. I really hope they can get to the Regional Final and play Minnesota, if they get that far.
