Everyone is focusing on that one play call, but there were several other horrible play calls and decisions throughout the game. Franklin and Rahne need to answer for those. I want transparency.

4th Quarter, PSU up 17-14, time running out, PSU has the ball, and runs out of bounds... Saving 1:30 for MSU.
C'mon guys!

Dude seriously. Somebody needs to be fired. How many years are we gonna have to sit through this horrible 4th quarter game management. It’s keeps happening over and over and over against decent teams. Somebody needs to be held accountable. This just can’t happen. Two weeks after one of the worst calls I have ever seen they mismanage the 4th quarter again

Think about the last few years in bigger games. Lost to usc in rose bowl where they had a big 4th quarter lead with bad 4th quarter game management. Lost to Ohio state last year with big 4th quarter lead with same thing. They almost blew that bowl game with Washington last year cause same thing. Then their was a big lead late this year against Ohio state lost. This game was closer but more of same bad game management. How many more times does this need to happen before something changes? Sure they win games against the teams that are average but the games that truely matter they continue to screw up. My dad likened them to old raiders. Get big lead and play that rubber band (prevent) defense that’s doesn’t work.

Until the team can grind out first downs/run down the clock with its running game, it has no business putting on airs about aspiring to "elite" status. Game management is a lot easier when one has a team that can execute. It takes a higher level of management/coaching to compensate for those shortcomings--and that level of coaching appears to be absent.

Game management is a lot easier when one has a team that can execute. It takes a higher level of management/coaching to compensate for those shortcomings--and that level of coaching appears to be absent. Stupid decisions like running out of bounds with lead was part of it and some players not executing like dropped interceptions but overall the 4th quarter overall game management has been atrocious over the last few years in big games. Then need to get some coaches in there that now how to close out games. Some of the decisions I’ve seen made over the last few years are mind boggling and it happens over and over. It would be easier to watch just getting blown out then continue to watch them beat teams into the late 4th then become a different team and continue to lose it in final minutes. The team is completely undisciplined and that’s on the coaches. Remember the paterno psu teams. They were some of most disciplined in football and least penalized. They also knew how to tackle. Some of the tackling I’ve watched from psu You wonder if they are actors dressed up as football players. This is all a reflection on the coaching and needs to be changed. Franklin didn’t put psu back on map after paterno. It was O’Brien then he left for nfl

Give coach Franklin some time. He is rebuilding a program and recruiting is the key. Also, he lost some valuable assistants. How many years did it take coach Paterno or Russ Rose to win a natty?

Sorry can’t do that. This isn’t a rebuilding problem it’s a coaching problem.
