Field Hockey fans are not numerous, and my perception is even fewer travel to see matches away from campus. It is possible that there will be as many PSU rooters as Michigan supporters, notwithstanding relative proximity.

I'd have preferred a neutral state, although you're right, field hockey fans are not numerous.
Regardless, Michigan is tough this year.

Michigan scored a late goal in the 2nd half (with 6 minutes to play) to win it 1-0. I think our girls did much better this time around.

You never know in Field Hockey! UConn still has to play Boston U who just beat Fairfield in a play-in match. True. I shan't despair! Although, I just read this headline: UConn stays No. 1, carries perfect record into NCAAT (November 7, 2017 1:20 ET) Connecticut has 38 first-place votes out of 42 with a 19-0 record.

Penn State up late 1-0
Delaware gets a penalty shot at point blank and is blocked by goalie.
Delaware gets late point by driving to goal to tie it with 5 minutes left
Going into OT. Looks like Delaware just overpowering Penn State and keeping play on Penn State's side last 8 minutes.
Penn State finally gets on Delaware's side of field and scores the match winning goal! 2-1 OT
Next up will be QF match against #1 seed UConn who beat Boston 3-1. Match scheduled for Sunday at TBD.

Delaware was last year's national champs, so they were no pushover; tough program. UConn will be really tough, but who knows.

PSU down 0-1 to UConn via PC within the first 5 minutes.
Make that 2-0 UConn; they just scored again at the 18th minute.
PSU scores in the 26th minute; it's now 2-1 UConn.
PSU passers aren't connecting that well, but they are trying to play an offensive game plan.
WOW!!! PSU just scored again in the 1st half at the 32nd minute off a PC.
Game is now tied 2-2 with 3 minutes remaining in the 1st half.
I really like the announcers. PSU has been intercepting a lot of UConn passes.
PSU outshooting UConn 6-5 in the 1st half, and both goalies have 3 saves.
