Duke would certainly never get a story like this wrong. Error code: message too cryptic to understand.

To make it worse...if there is such a thing: Only beat Milwaukee. Until last week, I didn't know there even was a Milwaukee WVB team. And, they've only won one set during those 4 losses. But what occurs to me is if ND is doing this poorly, at least they have Salima. I cannot imagine a better port in the storm than Salima.

Stanford got destroyed by Texas. The passing and floor defense of Texas is in a different universe from Stanford. It was painful to watch.
I predict Penn State beats Stanford next weekend. Stanford has some big hitters but with the setter always having to run after the ball, the MBs get few sets and the pin hitters are going against two blockers almost every time.

Texas is the best team money can buy. They are a level above everyone else. They may not win the championship, but it won't be due to lack of funds.
As to Stanford, are you trying to lull us into a false sense of security? 😎 We're on to you. It's a parlour trick -- pure legerdemain.
But, you might be right. In fact, we'll say it here, now: PSU in 5
So, fingers-crossed; hopes-in-hand 🙏 Go Lions! Beat the Tree 🌲

Just noticed that San Diego beat Ohio St in 3 (25-22, 26-25, 28-26) on Saturday. BUT that was 1 hr after Ohio St beat Louisville 3-1. Don't know how it actually worked out, but the OSU schedule had OSU playing Louisville at 2 P.M. and then playing San Diego at 5 P.M. Rather brutal timing. Edit: My mistake, the OSU vs Louisville match was on Sat at 5 P.M. and the SD vs OSU match was on Sunday at 2 P.M. The volleyball associative rule worked out again, SD beat OSU, OSU beat Louisville and Louisville beat SD. First loss for SD. Just a note, the scores for the SD vs Louisville were (25-18, 13-25, 25-11, 26-24). Go figure. Reminds me of a Stanford match 4-5 yrs back where Stanford lost 2 sets by -11 & -13 and won the match 3-2. How can a team be that good and that bad? All in the same match?

Just wanted to remind everybody that VolleybalMag.com has a Monday video blog where Lee Feinswog and Emily Ehman talk with a couple of coaches about the last week end play and the upcoming games. This episode had the SD coach and Mississippi State coach on it. It's interesting and informative. The URL is
