RPI: Quite the spread of B1G teams. Only 4 (WI, NE, PSU, PU) in top 20; 5 in top 25 (MN); 6 in top 50 (NU).
IIRC OSU set up its pre-conference schedule w/RPI in mind. Yet they are only knocking on the door of the top 50 (52).
The further down you go on the RPI list, the less it seems to be in accord w/AVCA. Not sure I've seen that before.

My gut tells me that there has been a power shift over the past 5 or 10 years to a more balanced distribution across conferences. The dominance of the Pac 12 and B1G had diminished. Anyone have comparative data for 5 and 10 years ago?
