I don't but observe this seems to be the lightest rep of B1G for a while, tho B1G has #1 and #2.
Perhaps a starting data point would be the final end-of-season AVCA polls which rely in part on the NCAA bracket and finishes, adding in the RPI that was used for the entire slate per division.

It confirms your observation about only 2 B!G teams being in the top ten being unusual. The decline is attributable primarily to PSU falling out of the top ten for the past few years and Minnesota falling off this year. An interesting side note is that only one team has been in the top 25 for every one of the 41 years!
