McSorley gets re-injured. Offensive things go poorly as PSU ends half with missed field goal attempt. Score is 16-7, Wisconsin will received the kickoff to open the second half.

Wisconsin opened the half with a drive down the field, PSU defense stiffened and they had to settle for a field goal.
PSU replied with a field goal of their own; McSorley returned.
19-10 as the 3rd quarter draws to a close (with a missed field goal).

PSU gets another field goal, up 22-10. Wisconsin works at running out the clock. (Yeah, for real!) About 5 minutes left.

I don't know what Franklin teaches these players, but tackling and ball security is one thing that is needed

We ran the ball with the lead (finally). And (shocker) we won fairly easily. Still pretty sloppy but a very solid win.

(I try) Well most of the runs were for more than 3 yards. The team took some risks on 4'th down that worked this time. But your point is well taken. I still have some trouble with the play calling, but the coordinators appear to be learning from their earlier questionable decisions.

PSU is at Rutgers today. PSU is up 13-0 with just over a minute to go in the 3rd quarter.
This has not been a great game to watch. Nobody's going to get votes for Coach of the Year with this effort. The B1G officials aren't covering themselves with glory, either. (For those of you who witnessed the travesty of last season's PSU-Rutgers Wrestling match, that's about how the B1G crew is working over PSU.)
I'm hoping PSU can hang on for the win.

Well PSU prevailed 20-7. Don't go looking for style points. And as someone once observed, a win beats a stick in an uncomfortable place.

Maryland and OSU, tied at 45, going to overtime.
But OSU prevails, 52-51. (Maryland went for 2)

Congrats to the football team after their 38-3 victory over Maryland.
Didn't Maryland almost beat OSU last week; and OSU destroyed Michigan, who destroyed PSU.......
I heard that USC may be looking at James Franklin.....
We'll have to see where PSU goes bowling.
