I clearly recall a regular contributor to this forum predicting that Minn. would not be able to handle the pressure vs PSU. Seems to be the other way around.

Yeah, PSU's freshman, Holcomb, is the liability vs who I thought it would be: MN's freshman setter.
If you recall, coach Rose mentioned that at this point in the season the players don't listen to what he says. So, there is one good thing that comes from a loss, per Nebraska coach Terry Pettit, the players become teachable.

PSU allowed MN to go on 6-0 runs in both sets so far.
Washington and Whitney only have 5 kills between them. What's going on?

It's not just Washington and Whitney. PSU has very talented players who are not an effective team against this level of opponent. It's the same chaos and out of synch problem PSU has had all season.
Minn. may not have as much pure talent but they are a much better team. All phases of the game. I could see a championship final of Minn. vs Washington.
