Well, if PSU doesn't come out on fire in set 3, you can assume they won't during the tourney's big games either.

Boy do I miss Micha's serve now.
I hear Kendall Pierce is in at Libero for the 3rd?

I don't know what the PSU coaches can do to create effective 6 woman groups from these 17 individuals. Resembles a middle of the pack NBA team with five players on the court doing different things.

They really don't seem to be in synch. At all.

Nyline, we aren't really surprised, are we? We have seen this chaos, poor serve receive, often this year. PSU has been getting by on talent not on great team play. And now the heresy...perhaps this sophomore class is not the best recruiting class of all time.
Hard to see our beloved team get swept. But it's been coming all along.

Did not see that loss coming, it was embarrassing. I don't see PSU doing much in the tourney without good passing. You can't say the 2014 class is bad, they are one of the best all time, the problem is a change in setter and libero. You bring newcomers to replace All Americans (an Gonzalez was that, even if she didn't receive the recognition; I'm sure we can all appreciate her talents a lot more now that she's gone). I expected a better outing by PSU, but they simply didn't have it tonight. MN played great and didn't let up; they could go far.
