They are ranked #15, but it's now 19-18 in set 3 (Purdue up 2 sets to 0) Purdue just got royally screwed on that next to last play in set 3. Ball clearly had broken the plane of the net. Call was she reached over net. She is allowed to when ball breaks plane. Set ended 34-32 MN . I actually didn't think it broke the plane of the net (nor did the Purdue announcer). But another look might have changed my mind.

I'm looking for that set 4 video on Youtube. I'm going to go back and look at that one. By the way, do we know who (youtube uploader) "athletevball" is? If you want to look at the 2013 or 2014 games, you really ought to subscribe to Tom's good files or whatever: www.tomsgoodfiles.com/volleyball-great-video-clips.php . It will cost you $20 for both years and you don't have to put up with the poor resolution on YouTube. Thanks. I'll look into it. I just watched the end of set 4 video on Youtube of the 2013 NC win (the last 2 points only). Wow! It sent chills up my spine. An ace by Hancock and a kill by McClendon. Also, seeing McClendon, Courtney, and Dom on the floor was really special; they were the best passing trio in PSU history, IMO. Although, the killy by Deja, was from a block going straight up after a long rally, was the controversial point in the Purdue game from a serve overpass or is that the same thing?

Purdue crowd going crazy on the audio feed when Goehner got stuffed. T.O. MN.
Purdue leading 10-5 and MN has no more timeouts.

And the Boilermakers win it in 5 sets. (15-9) They just defeated #3 MN. What a win/match!
Purdue hit .242 vs .244 for MN, so it was close. MN had 29 errors to 23 by Purdue.

Big block by Boilermakers. Wilhite is struggling. 13-8 now. Talking Head said she played the match of her life against Penn State. Maybe he was right?

Minnesota who clearly isn't playing as well as they were a week ago. Not sure that is a good thing for them.
On the other hand PSU sided out at 100% and 84% in game 2 and 3.
That is quite a stat

This match is why I would not bet on MN winning a NC. They are just not there yet. MN can get upset by a weaker opponent in the tourney. They almost got swept by Purdue, if not for some errors in the 3rd. Then again, Purdue should have put the game away in 3, no excuse for the errors. They had 9 match points.

Well, we definitely won't see that again this season. The statistical probability of that happening again is astronomical!
